Marquette goes into Madison and beats Bucky

The Marquette Golden Eagles went into Madison Wisconsin and beat a very good Wisconsin Badgers team 61 – 54.  Hours before the game, it was released that Junior Cadougan would not be available for the game due to violating team rules.  Jae Crowder has a terrible game only getting 2 points and 3 rebounds.  DJO has a chucking game where he ends up with 17 points, but he was only 6-15 from the field.  The major difference in the game was the play of Vander Blue and Todd Mayo.  Todd Mayo was an offensive force and Vander Blue played an amazing first half while leading the team with 8 rebounds.

Some of my thoughts from watching the game at Fanatics….

  • God I hate drunk Badger Fans
  • Todd Mayo’s got to be sick being known as OJ Mayo’s brother.  I think I will start calling him Todd “Don’t talk about my brother OJ” Mayo.  Great game for him as he seemed to get to the rim all day.
  •  I couldn’t feel happier for Vander Blue.  I know the fans were yelling at him and he really played a great game with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.
  • Davante Gardner had his best game of the year with 8 points and 7 rebounds
  • Did I mention how obnoxious drunk Badger fans are?
  • Did Chris Otule make the trip to Madison?  If he is going to be one of the better centers in the Big East, he will need to play much better.
  • Jordan Taylor did not play well which really shows how bad the BADgers are without their stud point guard.  He’s got a lot on his shoulders this year without a lot of talents around him.

Doesn’t the University of Wisconsin logo look great in Blue and Gold!
